On 18 and 19 November, a delegation from the Early Childhood Education Institute in Tokyo (Japan) visited the infant toddler centers and preschools of Bassa Reggiana. Teachers, managers, operating staff and architects form the delegation, which after visiting the infant toddler center Iride in Guastalla and attending an introductory lecture on the pedagogy of Progettinfanzia, spent some hours at the Arcobaleno preschool in Novellara and at the Rodari infant toddler center in Poviglio.

Documentation is often one of the aspects most closely examined by visiting delegations in our intant toddler centers and preschools, because the vastness of the themes and proposals, together with the quality – aesthetic and pedagogical – of the material produced by the teachers often surprises colleagues from other countries.
A visit that took place, also in this case, in the name of courtesy and respect, of words and mutual listening, in a context that is always a source of great stimuli and exchanges.
