Sabato 4 ottobre è stata una giornata di immensa gioia ed emozione per tutta la nostra comunità: dopo anni di cantiere e intenso lavoro, è stato ufficialmente inaugurato l’ampliamento del servizio educativo di Brescello, un traguardo fondamentale che consacra la nascita del nuovo Polo Scolastico 0-6. È stata una bellissima mattinata condivisa da tutti i presenti, che hanno potuto finalmente scoprire i nuovi spazi della scuola dell’infanzia e l’importante ampliamento del giardino, all’interno del quale Progettinfanzia ha donato un albero per segnare con forza l’inizio di questo nuovo percorso. Avere un unico polo in cui il nido e la scuola dell’infanzia comunali possono convivere e condividere gli spazi dà uno straordinario valore alla continuità educativa. Culturalmente, fin dalla nascita di Progettinfanzia e del coordinamento pedagogico, i servizi educativi di Brescello promuovono un’idea di infanzia intesa come un unico segmento evolutivo e non suddivisa nelle due distinte fasce 0-3 e 3-6. La vicinanza fisica rappresenta quindi un ulteriore, fondamentale passaggio per valorizzare ciò che già avviene quotidianamente a livello progettuale, culturale e formativo, rafforzando un approccio pedagogico che vede nido e scuola concordare e abitare gli stessi spazi con i medesimi valori e modalità. Un risultato così importante è stato possibile grazie a una grande sinergia, per la quale desideriamo ringraziare l’amministrazione comunale, che ha sostenuto l’avanzamento e la chiusura del cantiere, i tanti volontari che hanno dato un prezioso aiuto durante il trasloco, le insegnanti e gli uffici tecnici di ASBR e del comune che ci hanno preceduti ponendo le basi per questo traguardo, l’architetto Alessio Bernardelli, che ha condiviso con noi questi anni di lavori progettando la nuova struttura, e infine i genitori e i bambini, che hanno saputo attendere con pazienza il momento di poter abitare questi nuovi ambienti. Alla cerimonia erano presenti il sindaco Carlo Fiumicino, l’assessore alla scuola Luca Poli, la direttrice di ASBR Silvia Ronchetti, la pedagogista del Polo di Brescello Alessandra Ferrari e i gruppi di lavoro al completo di nido e scuola, composti da insegnanti, educatrici e ausiliarie. È stato davvero arricchente accogliere anche insegnanti e pedagogisti amici arrivati dai comuni limitrofi della Bassa Reggiana e da realtà con cui negli anni abbiamo condiviso importanti esperienze formative. In particolare, è stato emozionante rivedere ex educatrici, ragazzi e famiglie che hanno frequentato i servizi in passato e che hanno voluto essere presenti per condividere questo grande momento di festa, gioia e rinascita per tutta la comunità.
Saturday, October 4th, was a day of immense joy and excitement for our entire community: after years of construction and hard work, the expansion of Brescello’s educational facilities was officially inaugurated a milestone marking the birth of the new 0–6 School Hub. It was a wonderful morning shared by all those present, who were finally able to explore the new preschool areas and the significantly expanded garden; within the latter, Progettinfanzia donated a tree to powerfully symbolize the start of this new journey. Having a single hub where the municipal nursery and preschool can coexist and share spaces adds extraordinary value to educational continuity. From the very inception of Progettinfanzia and its pedagogical coordination team, Brescello’s educational services have promoted a vision of childhood as a unified developmental stage, rather than one split into two distinct age groups (0–3 and 3–6). Physical proximity thus represents a further, fundamental step in enhancing the work already taking place daily at the planning, cultural, and training levels, reinforcing a pedagogical approach in which the nursery and preschool align and share the same spaces, values, and methods.
Such a significant achievement was made possible through great synergy; we wish to thank the municipal administration for supporting the progress and completion of the construction work, the many volunteers who provided invaluable help during the move, the teachers and technical staff from ASBR and the municipality who paved the way for this milestone, architect Alessio Bernardelli who shared these years of work with us by designing the new facility and, finally, the parents and children who patiently awaited the moment they could occupy these new spaces. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Carlo Fiumicino, Councillor for Education Luca Poli, ASBR Director Silvia Ronchetti, Brescello Hub educational specialist Alessandra Ferrari, and the full staff teams from the nursery and school, comprising teachers, educators, and support staff. It was also truly enriching to welcome fellow teachers and educational specialists from neighboring towns in the Bassa Reggiana area and from organizations with whom we have shared significant professional development experiences over the years. It was particularly moving to see former educators, young people, and families who had used our services in the past and who wanted to be there to share in this great moment of celebration, joy, and renewal for the entire community.
