On Tuesday 22nd October 2019 the University organized a conference entitled “Children in the city, beyond the walls. Building democracy from childhood, reflections, ideas and research experiences”.
The meeting was organized by the Department of Education and Human Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and included the presence of Roberta Cardarello, Andrea Pintus – UNIMORE University -, Carlotta Bonvicini, Councilor for sustainability of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.
The rethinking of public spaces, the natural environment and its use, the BRIC project with its effects on the educational approach to children’s planning, were discussed together with Maia Antonietti, of UNIMORE, Alessandra Ferrari and Patrizia Benedetti, pedagogist in the preschools of the Bassa Reggiana (ASBR).
The final conclusions were entrusted to Cristian Fabbi, International Bureau of Education (UNESCO) and Director of Progettinfanzia.
